Giving your time, expertise, attending or taking part in a fundraising event your involvement will make a difference. Whether you would like to organise your own activity or take part in one of our organised events, it’s easy to raise funds for us and we will support you all the way.

We have  number of events and lots of ideas and tips to get you started. We will provide as much support advice and guidance as possible to make sure we are successful and you enjoy supporting Heartbeat.

We need to spend over £500,000 to fund Heartbeat's testing and cardiac rehabilitation services supporting people across the North West.

Your support can give a lifeline to hundreds of people across the North West who are living with the devastating affects of heart disease. Your support will make a difference to the people of your community.

Heartbeat Walk 2012

If you don't want to be part of an event but you do want to raise money for Heartbeat, then why not sign up for the Heartbeat virtual walk around the circumference of Great Britain!!!!!

Walk any distance, wherever you like, collect sponsorship and add your total to our total of 2,400 miles

Riversway Festival - Dragon Boat Race at Preston Docks on Saturday 21st July 2012

A fantastic event for all the family! As part of the Riversway Festival, Heartbeat has two Dragon Boat Teams entered for the charity Dragon Boat race! Teams are generating their own sponsorship and both boats are nearly full. If you are interested please get in touch as soon as possible. Otherwise why not come down and support Heartbeat from dry land.

Preston Guild 2012

Heartbeat is delighted to be taking part in the Preston Guild Torch Light Procession on Saturday 8th September. We will have a float and places for up to 50 walkers and so if you want to be an active part of this historic event please give us a call on 01772 717147 or e-mail info@heartbeat-nwcc.org.uk

If  you are taking part in a sponsored event  for Heartbeat and have access to the internet the easiest way to get sponsored is by setting up a Just Giving Page.  It’s easy and quick to do, then just email it to all your contacts and sit back while they sponsor you on line.  No more trailing around trying to get the money in!

Save all your loose change in one of our home money boxes.

Bring in your foreign coins, notes and out of date money to Pond House. We can exchange it for £££'s!

Gather together your discarded mobile phones and ink cartridges. We are recycling and receive payment for old mobiles in any condition and certain types of ink cartridges (not Epson). Please ask your family and friends to support this too. We have a collection point at Pond House.
 

Look after a group of our collection boxes which are placed in shops post office and pubs. Volunteers bring in the boxes when full. Do you have a business which could be a new site for a box?
 

Sell your unwanted goods on Ebay and donate a percentage of the sale to Heartbeat (You can choose how much). You can also make purchases and Heartbeat will benefit ebayforcharity

Help us to collect at a local supermarket - Can you spare two hours to help?
 

Get your family, friends and neighbours together and bring your group to Heartbeat  social events or take part in a fundraising challenge. Why not start with a coffee morning or cheese and wine evening?
 

Get your company or business involved. Your association with Heartbeat and actively encouraging your staff will bring benefits to your business, raise your profile and improve community relations. Contribute a monthly donation, become a sponsor, donate gifts, establish a payroll giving scheme or share your expertise by helping to establish new fundraising projects.
