Corporate AED

Is your organisation prepared if sudden cardiac arrest strikes a member of staff or a visitor?

Without warning, a sudden cardiac arrest can strike people of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels. Having the right equipment and knowing how to respond can have a huge impact on someone’s survival rate, and may be the difference between life and death.

Here in the UK 700,000 people suffer a sudden cardiac arrest every single year

The majority of these incidents happen outside of a hospital environment and can happen anywhere in everyday life, at work, at school, at the train station, in the shop or on the street. When a cardiac arrest happens every minute is vital.

Using a defibrillator within the first 3 minutes can greatly increase the chances of survival

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED or just defibrillator) is a small, light-weight, portable device that can read a person’s heart rhythm and deliver a shock if needed. It’s this shock that may restore a normal heart rhythm and potentially save a person’s life.

Heartbeat is your local heart charity and we can help you to protect your workforce

We can help you put a defibrillator in place in your workplace. We can give your staff training on how to use it and even work with you to provide this for your wider community, giving you the tools to make a huge impact should somebody suffer a cardiac arrest.

As a charity, Heartbeat is reliant on voluntary support and fundraising and so we would need to work with you to ensure you can raise a minimum amount to provide the following:

Fund your defibrillator through a donation or fundraising

Simply choose the package that best suits the needs of your business and your staff. Training can be included and we can also work with you to provide a defibrillator for a local community centre or sports group.

You can fund the defibrillators with a donation to Heartbeat or we can work with you and your staff to help you fundraise the amount. We have a fundraising pack full of ideas to get you started and on your way to your chosen target. It’s a great opportunity to get your staff involved and really see their efforts make a difference to their environment and also that of the local community.
