Heartbeat promotes National Heart Month in St. Georges Shopping Centre, Preston

February 2012 is National Heart Month. There are about 2.6 million people in the UK living with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD). Every single one of us has a heart which means that every one of us is at potential risk. Understanding heart conditions isn't an easy task - there are lots of different types and knowing how the heart works is more helpful when trying to learn about these conditions. Heartbeat is delighted to have been given an opportunity to promote National Heart Month throughout February 2012 in St. Georges Shopping Centre.

So come along and visit us in St. Georges and be part of this exciting initiative.

New exciting website for Heartbeat - coming soon.

Overdue work has just started on the redesign of Heartbeat's existing website. We are working with a design agency to make sure that Heartbeat's new website will not only look fresh and contain interesting and informative information, but we are working hard to make sure that it has functionality which makes it easier for you to keep in touch.

The Gibbon Bridge Hotel Chipping

This is a fantastic opportunity for ladies to spoil yourselves and enjoy the luxury of The Gibbon Bridge Hotel. The 4-star hotel is located in the Forest of Bowland boasting a stylish restaurant with fine views of the award-winning gardens and Longridge Fell.

You will be welcomed with a Bucks Fizz reception followed by a 2 course luncheon concluding with coffee and chocolates.

Heartbeat Conference 2012

This year Heartbeat has decided to combine the Annual General Meeting with our first Conference. Confirmed speakers already include, Dr Somnath Kumar MBBS, DMRD, MRCP Consultant Cardiologist, Dr. Richard Parry Heartbeat Clinical Director, Dr. Mark Roy School of Psychology, University of Central Lancashire and Gail Sargerson from the British Heart Foundation. A full agenda will be available in early February.
