The Heartbeat lottery is independent and belongs totally to Heartbeat.   It should NOT be confused with the National Lottery or any other lottery.  It is used solely to raise money which is used to help Local people who are Heartbeat patients recovering after a heart attack or open heart surgery. ALL the proceeds of this lottery go to a 'GOOD CAUSE' - 'HEARTBEAT'.

The Heartbeat lottery pays for 80% of everything we do.   It provides for 5 Doctor's on call, over 600 patients at eight locations in the North West, Medical staff, exercise tutors and the cost of the venues.   It also provides for all the medical equipment, exercise equipment and the upkeep of Pond House.   It is true to say that this small gamble we ask people to take with us increases life expectancy and well being of countless sufferers of Coronary Heart Disease in the North West.   The money given to Heartbeat stays in the North West for the people of the North West.

Caroline manages the Heartbeat Lottery.   Anybody can help us to continue the assistance we provide to sufferers by joining our lottery. There is a minimum cost of ONE POUND a week which gives you TWO NUMBERS,   which are then entered in a prize draw.  A small amount (less than 2 litres of petrol) can get a big result in helping local heart patients back to a healthy life.   In return you could win a weekly prize of ONE THOUSAND POUNDS.   We pay out up to £2,500 every week.

Lorraine administers the lottery with Caroline.  When you join the lottery as a new member the computer randomly chooses five numbers which become your personal set of numbers and are unique to you.  On Monday to Thursday of every week, five randomly chosen numbers are selected. Those members with five correct numbers win £100, four correct win £20 and three correct win £5.  Every Friday the five correct numbers win £1000 and in addition an extra 75 five numbers are randomly selected to win £5 each.
