Well done Ranvir! What an amazing achievement!
We’re so proud of you, and can’t thank you enough.
Ranvir Singh is Heartbeat’s Patron and a few weeks ago commented… “Hello – well this a bit weird. I’ve imagined doing the London Marathon for donkey’s years from the comfort of my bed on that Sunday morning in April.. and I’d always said I’ll do one before I’m 40. So a bit like childbirth, I’ll do it once, but never again – and in the process I’d like to do some good for someone else, with a little help from my friends. My dad had 2 heart attacks and died when he was 42. I was 9. It’s gets harder to be without a father as I get older for some reason. Heartbeat is a charity in Preston where I grew up, and it cares for people with heart problems, giving them every chance of seeing their kids grow up. I wish it had been around 30 years ago. If you could give as little or as much as you feel you can, that would be really encouraging for me. Thank you xxx”
