Most of the tests listed on the ‘Medical Testing’ page are offered as part of the exercise programme provided by Heartbeat but they can also be done on a private basis.

These tests are run by our Medical Director and experienced cardiac physiologists and are designed to assess how your heart responds to exercise. Exercise Tolerance Tests (ETTs) can be useful for:

– Health screening for those with a family history of cardiovascular disease

– Checking heart fitness before training for an event

– Meeting requirements for taxi or powerboat licenses
