Donations from wills make sure that our cardiac rehabilitation programmes continue and grow, and are there for people affected by cardiovascular disease in the years to come.

Heartbeat was founded in 1978, and over the years legacy donations, large and small, have all helped to fund the vital services we provide today to local people affected by heart, lung and vascular disease.

A decision made today to leave a gift in your will, can help look after future generations in the years to come and help more people live healthier, longer and happier lives with the people they love.

If you’d like to leave a gift to Heartbeat in your will, please let your solicitor know

Heartbeat’s Free Will Scheme

Having an up to date will is the only way to make sure the people and causes you care about are looked after when you’re gone.

If you are thinking of updating or writing a will, Heartbeat has now partnered with Bequeathed to offer our supporters a free Will For Good.

With Bequeathed, it’s simple process and you can get started straight away. Just go online any time that suits you and follow the simple steps to create a draft will.

A member of staff from one of their partner legal firms will then advise you in a free 30-minute appointment, in person or over the phone. Once your will is complete the firm will help you with getting it signed and witnessed. There is never any charge for a standard will, which is suitable for most people, the service is free, but if you can consider a charitable donation in lieu of some of the cost of your will it would be appreciated but not obligatory. If your circumstances are complicated and you require further legal advice, the legal firm will explain what’s needed and give you a quote to consider.
