Supervised Exercise Classes
Heartbeat provides safe, clinically-led exercise classes for people living with – or at risk of – cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. Our programmes are run by BACPR-qualified instructors (British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation) and are designed to support recovery, improve fitness and help members live longer, healthier lives.
To join our exercise programme, please take both forms below to your GP to fill in before bringing into Heartbeat HQ.

What Our Classes Include
We deliver a combination of aerobic and resistance training, tailored to individual ability levels and medical history. All sessions are monitored and supervised, making them safe, supportive and highly effective.
Typical sessions include:
- Treadmills, bikes, rowers & step work
- Strength and resistance training with weights or bands
- Warm-up, cool down and lifestyle advice
- Ongoing motivation, confidence and social support
