CPR AND DEFIBRILLATOR WORKSHOPS

Learn life-saving skills

At Heartbeat, we believe everyone should feel confident to act in a cardiac emergency. That’s why we run Defibrillator and CPR workshops, led by our experienced trainer, Jo Duff.

These interactive sessions teach you how to recognise the signs of a cardiac arrest, use a defibrillator safely and perform CPR effectively. Our workshops are designed for all skill levels – whether you’re an individual wanting to be prepared, a workplace team or a community group.

What’s Covered:

  • Heart anatomy and physiology – understand how your heart works

  • Heart attack vs cardiac arrest – know the difference and why it matters

  • Role of chest compressions – how and why they save lives

  • Hands-on practice – build confidence with practical exercises

Why Attend?

  • Gain confidence in handling cardiac emergencies

  • Fun, interactive, and suitable for all skill levels

  • Help make your home, workplace, or community a safer place

  • Learn hands-on, life-saving techniques in a safe environment

Donation for the Workshop

  • Minimum donation of £100

Our workshops are available across the community, empowering people across the North West with vital life-saving skills.

“The workshop was pitch perfect, clear and concise, engaged everyone – absolutely fabulous

Feedback off everyone was really good too and even the oldest member Audrey who is 90 next birthday went round putting the De-fib code up in various locations to make it easier for anyone to access! Thank you Heartbeat!”
