About Heartbeat

Heartbeat is the North West’s leading cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation charity. At Heartbeat, we empower over 1000 individuals to take control of their heart and lung health through safe, supervised exercise and lifestyle support.

Please contact your GP and complete our self referral form and DRS form before bringing into Heartbeat HQ.

Supervised exercise programmes, clinical testing, medical support, education, and training are all part of our offerings.

Heartbeat is based at Preston North End football club but we have many sites across the North West including:

-Burscough

-Chorley

-Garstang

-Leyland

-Lytham

-Penwortham

-Ribby Hall

-St Annes

Yes, you can attend two classes per week at any Heartbeat venue, at times that fit your schedule.

Heartbeat is a self-funded charity and receives no Government support. We rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters including members, businesses and individuals who believe in our cause.

All our staff are trained in CPR and the use of defibrillators.

Yes, all our locations are wheelchair friendly and have free parking available.
