Welcome to Heartbeat

It’s our 40th birthday!

Heartbeat have been caring for and rehabilitating people of the North West for 40 years!

Heartbeat was founded in 1978 by Keith and Rose Redman who sadly lost their teenage daughter, Gillian, to heart disease. Keith and Rose recognised the need to develop support and enhanced rehabilitation for people affected by heart disease post hospital discharge.

This pioneering approach to cardiac rehabilitation has provided support to thousands of people over Heartbeat’s 40 year history.

So, we’re going to make 2018 a very special year, full of fundraising celebrations, activities and even a world record attempt!

We have a huge goal of raising an additional £40k, we would like you to be part of our celebrations.

Keep your eye on our website over the up and coming months!
